Plano East Contest This Saturday

Bronco Band Parents,

On Saturday, and with every marching band contest we attend, we ask that all of our supporters wear red, sit together and cheer loudly for your Bronco Marching Band! From the time the band enters the stadium from the tunnel, the band students will hear your cheers down on the field-and this always provides an added boost. As we will be performing last in the preliminary round, we suggest you arrive early to claim seats as a capacity crowd is expected by the end of the prelims.

Students will also have the opportunity to purchase contest patches for letter jackets, t-shirts, souvenirs, and order pictures. You may choose to send your student with cash to make these purchases or you can plan to buy some of these items for your student.

Spectator admission for the Plano East Marching Invitational is $8 payable by cash, check, debit or credit.

Spectator admission for next week’s UIL Region Contest is $5 payable by cash only.

Itineraries For Plano East and UIL Marching Contests

Itineraries for the Plano East Marching Invitational on Saturday, October 4th and the UIL Region Marching Band Contest on Saturday, October 11th are now available on our itineraries page. Please look at our itineraries for scheduled performance times.

Silent Auction Coming Soon

Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Family Night Silent Auction, is on October 10th - just over a month away! For those unfamiliar with Family Night, it is an annual event full of marching, food, and a great opportunity to bid on donated items and support the band at the same time! It is also the night that letter jackets are passed out to those who earned them!

Over the course of the next month, we will be sending a number of email which will contain a lot of great information. This first email is going to address the silent auction/dessert auction/mystery basket raffle itself.

Parent Meeting Thursday

Please join us at 6:30 Thursday night in the Auditorium for our annual Band Pep Rally and Parent Information Night. The students will be performing for you for the first time this year, so it will be a great kick-off to our new season. Parent Night is the time when we learn about all the great things we have planned for this school year and provide you with lots of information about the Band and the Boosters. This will be our first General Booster Meeting of the year, and Board members will be available after the meeting to answer any questions you don't get answered in the meeting. Spirit Wear will be available for sale before and after the meeting as well.
